When I started ThinkingCode in 2011, it wasn't because I had a perfect business plan. It was because I saw something shift—globally and locally. The world was waking up to the power of creators. Startups were no longer fringe experiments; they were rewriting industries. And in India, a quiet but powerful movement had begun—people were building. I had spent years working in and around that energy—Bay Area startups, large MNCs, a couple of acquisitions. But what I craved wasn't another job or another title. I wanted to create a space where builders could thrive. Not just engineers checking boxes—but creators who think deeply, challenge assumptions, and shape real products. ThinkingCode was built to be that space. A platform where structured engineering meets untamed imagination. Over the years, we've grown into two intertwined engines—our Managed Engineering Services arm that delivers rock-solid software for clients across the globe, and our Product Pods, where we experiment, incubate, and occasionally, invent the next big thing. But what truly sets us apart is our people. We don't hire for skills alone—we hire for spark. And once they're here, we nurture them like future founders. We've seen interns grow into product leads, and engineers take charge of pods that became standalone ventures. That's not luck—that's culture. ThinkingCode is still evolving, and it always will be. But what hasn't changed—and never will—is our core belief: that good software isn't just written. Its amazing what a group of committed individuals can do in an environment where they are afforded full freedom to express, experiment and evolve This, in essence, perfectly encapsulates the Thinking Code philosophy. Our people are our greatest strength. We do not hire based on what a resume says. We look for people with the right attitude, the passion and the hunger to make a difference. It is with a great amount of pride that I state that we have a team that has all these attributes in abundance and, collectively, they make the whole substantially bigger than the sum of the parts. We have come a long way from our humble beginnings in 2011. Our Managed Services division has been growing at well above industry trends over the last 2 to 3 years and we see ourselves continuing on this growth trajectory. This division is the engine that funds all our product initiatives and several of these products are now garnering significant interest and attention. As a company, we have a code of ethics and fairness that forms the basis for all our interactions with internal and external stakeholders. Our vendors are integral to our success and we treat them the same way we treat our employees – with respect, dignity and integrity. And, as far as our clients are concerned – they are the reason for our existence and the resolve to go the extra mile for them is ingrained in each and every member of the team.
